Born in Canada, Tyler Brûlé moved to the UK in 1989 where he trained as a journalist with the BBC television programme '
Reportage'. Later moving to print, he wrote for, among others,
The Guardian,
Stern,
The Sunday Times and
Vanity Fair.
He went on to become one of Europe's leading arbiters of good taste, founding both the high-concept interiors magazine
Wallpaper* and the branding agency Wink Media. A renowned commentator, Brûlé is a columnist for the
Financial Times and the
New York Times Magazine. He continues to create and present television programmes, including '
Counter Culture' for the BBC, a series on international branding and global consumerism.
