Background
We do not seek to retro-fit our new model into an existing framework. The Independent Financial Centre of the Americas is built uniquely for its own purpose. We are building from scratch, on a site that is well connected by road and air. Our success will be sustained by the quality of our architectural and system designs, and the environment in which they are set.
Architecture
With our architect, Bernard Tschumi, we have set about redefining, while reaffirming, iconic design for financial institutions as ideal workplaces.
Purpose Built
We are working from a clean slate, setting our own standards: the best international financial practice and a new legal and regulatory framework.
Legal Framework
A new Enabling Law soon to be approved by Congress that creates economic zones to accommodate the special requirements of financial institutions.
